CLAIM SPLIT explained:
Process in which the entitlements of a warranty claim coming in from a claimant can be split amongst several reimbursers.
This is necessary, for example, if parts from different manufacturers are requested for more than one defect, which grant warranty, or if a claim contains a defect and, at the same time, the warranty request for an accessory (irrespective of defect).
