SHIFT FACTOR (PM) explained:
The percentage in the maintenance strategy that specifies the degree to which a confirmation date that deviates from the planned date must be taken into account when scheduling subsequent maintenance plan dates.
The system calculates the number of days by which the subsequent dates are moved using the percentage specified as the shift factor.
The negative shift factor is used if the confirmation date is before the due date.
The positive shift factor is used if the confirmation date is after the due date.
