STATUS OBJECT explained:
An object created by the SAP System, including the assignment of an object type (possibly a status profile) to an SAP object (such as an order, a resource or a project).
The SAP System must create a status object so that the SAP object can use status management.
All the status information for a SAP object is stored under the object number of the corresponding status object in a separate status management table.
