ACTIVITY ITEM explained:
Transaction item that describes a product or topic that is relevant for an intended or completed interaction with a business partner. The activity item can document a completed interaction, such as the distribution of a sample or the request from the business partner for information.
For an activity item, a template or template type for activity journals is used to define which fields (that is, what business attributes) should be available in the item for entering information. Examples can include:
