FREIGHT EXCHANGE explained:
A marketplace that shippers use to find forwarding agents for their shipments.
This freight exchange service is useful for transportation planners, especially for smaller shipments. The transportation planner can use the freight exchange to find a freight forwarder that can include the shipment in a partial load (LTL) at a discounted price.
