MODE COMBINATION explained:
Combination of modes that have been specified for different activities in a PP/DS production process model (PPM).
This mode combination is relevant when generating SNP PPMs from PP/DS PPMs. As it is possible to specify several alternative modes for an activity within a PP/DS PPM whereas only one mode is allowed to be specified in an activity for an SNP PPM, during automatic generation of SNP PPMs from PP/DS PPMs, one SNP PPM is generated per each specific PP/DS PPM mode combination.
