PRODUCT MODULE explained:
Product modules are created in basis folders in product libraries, based on product classes defined in the product model.
A product module therefore represents an instance of a product class with all properties. The properties (relationships, attributes, characteristics, methods) of product modules are also known as product data. Product modules can be time-dependent, then they contain generations and adjustment levels. For time-independent product modules, the product data is assigned directly to the product module. Time-dependent product modules have one product data record for each adjustment level.
