Rating of Record (Level): The summary level assigned to a rating of record. Rating of record is the performance rating prepared at the end of an appraisal period for performance over the entire period. Refer to 5 CFR 430.203 and 5 CFR 430.303 for the definition of rating of record and to 5 CFR 430.208 and 5 CFR 430.303 for definitions of summary levels.
Rating of Record (Pattern) The specific summary levels which can be assigned to a rating of record under an appraisal program. The patterns of summary levels which shall be used are defined in 5 CFR 430.208(d) and in 5 CFR 430.304(g).
Rating of Record (Period) The ending date of the appraisal period for which the Rating of Record (Level) was issued. Refer to 5 CFR 430.203 and 5 CFR 430.303.
