SERVICE FILE explained:
A file that contains a service description.
Service files contain the parameters that determine how ITS-driven applications run. If this information is incomplete at runtime, the ITS derives some details from the global service file, which contains parameter values for all services. There is one service file for each service (application).
You can create service files with the SAP@Web Studio (outside the SAP System) or the Web Application Builder (inside the SAP System).
