COMPACT SCHEDULING explained:
Scheduling function by which the system tries to schedule deallocated operations or complete orders with the smallest possible time intervals between the operations.
Ideally, the system can reduce the intervals to the minimum intervals defined in the production process model or in the iPPE. By using compact scheduling, you can reduce the order lead time and therefore schedule in a more compact manner.
