CONTROL ELEMENT explained:
An element of the graphical user interface.
Control elements enable users to communicate with the system and process data. Most control elements in the SAP GUI can be linked to function codes.
The SAP GUI contains the following types of control element:
Input/output elements Action elements Menus Selection elements Adjustment elements Organizational elements Complex control elementsMore terms such as control element in Dictionary C.
- Manual Cost-Based Optimizer:
- Help works out the best access path for queries on database data. The cost-based optimizer is part of the database management system. Its function is to reduce the time required to access database data control element definition.
