SEGMENT (FI) explained:
Division of a company that can create its own financial statements for external reporting. With IAS, a distinction is made between two types of segment:
Business segment Geographical segmentA segment can be entered in the master record of a profit center. The segment is then derived from the assigned profit center during posting.

- Manual Statistical Line Item:
- Help that is not relevant to the General Ledger and is kept in the contract accounts receivable and payable as a marker. These items do not change posting totals for reconciliation keys and therefore do segment (fi) definition.
