COMPARISON RATIO title: comparison ratio (IS-OIL-DS-TSW) (SAP Library - Glossary)
COMPARISON RATIO category: Trader's and Scheduler's Workbench (IS-OIL-DS-TSW)
COMPARISON RATIO explained:
The relationship between the quantity of material measured on shore and the quantity measured on the ship.
You calculate this ratio as follows:
(Total quantity measured on a ship) divided by (total quantity measured on shore). Multiply the result of this by 100.
ExampleQuantity measured on ship: 50,000 barrels
Quantity measured on shore: 52,000 barrels
Comparison ratio = (50,000) divided by (52,000), multiplied by 100 = 96.15
This means that for every 100 barrels that leave the shore, only 96.15 barrels are received on the ship.
