SPEED STATUS SETTING explained:
A length of time, defined in a number of days, that is used to assess how quickly an opportunity has moved through the previous sales stage.
The speed status is required in Pipeline Performance Management, as the user's settings produce a warning for the sales manager if the opportunity is moving through the sales stages too quickly or has even skipped over a sales stage.
This enables the sales manager to monitor the sales representatives better and to ensure that each sales stage is executed correctly, for example, that demonstrations are performed for potential customers.
