The business domain determines the logical system (RFC destination) in which these InfoObjects or data elements are located, and also determines a catalog for the InfoObjects or key figures in case of registration at the SAP BW.
When a data basis is created, a business domain must first be assigned to it. Business domain with the attribute "SAP system": The system type field (technical name: ACC_SYSTYPE) of the business domain has the value "SAP".
