TWO-DIMENSIONAL VERSIONING explained:
Versioning schema that is used to store results that use both the 'key date' and the 'system time' dimensions for identification.
The 'key date' dimension has a higher priority than the 'timestamp' dimension during selection. As a result, the system selects a version with a later key date even if a version that has a later timestamp and an earlier key date is available.
